Welcome to "Escape from Eternity."
Not just a science fiction novel. A New way of thinking about science fiction. Imagine that you are an eternal being. You have done everything there is to do. You know everything there is to know. How do you keep from going insane? You create an Escape from Eternity. You produce an environment where you are born without knowledge of your immortality or anything else. You learn everything new; you don’t remember your eternity. What if this was Earth? "Escape from Eternity" is a novel based on the "Escape from Eternity Theory" which offers an alternate explanation for why we are on Earth today. In the tiny Door County village of Ephraim, Wisconsin, Laura Whitmore is sought out by an Englishman who says he needs her to identify someone she has never met but who must be found to save our world. Confused and baffled, Laura wonders if this man, calling himself Adrian, might be hiding something sinister when he reveals the person he is seeking has made astonishing modifications to Earth’s early inhabitants. He may have even changed the past. Laura seeks asylum from this unnerving information, but Adrian pursues her and begins to explain what everyone has always wondered. What is the purpose of life on Earth? Laura finds she must make an ill-fated decision that will lead to the untimely death of a close friend, and in the end she must accept a destiny that will result in her escape from eternity. Author Nate Scholze proposes a simple, forthright explanation in his novel about the origin of life on earth. Talking about our occupation of the planet, Adrian asks, “Is it not apparent that you really do not belong here at all?" leading us to wonder if our time on Earth is not "just chance" encounter, or divine intervention. It may have been our own choice. Escape from Eternity is available on-line in paperback through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and at www.outskirtspress.com/bookstore I am now available for speaking engagements. Please email me at
